All of a sudden, yellow flags appeared and we could see Albon dropping in positions. For a long time, we didn’t get any video of what happened.

Oscar tried to go up the inside of Albon and went straight into Albon’s right side, destroying his cooler and leaving Albon smoking on the side of the road. Albon had to retire from the race. After many laps, the race stewards announced their decision — Piastri would receive a 10-second penalty for the contact and for taking Alex out of the race.
